Dr.H did orthoscopic surgery on my r knee 4/10. He told me then that all my joints were affected by arthritis & I would need additional treatment,including joint replacement, but he always approached my condition in a very conservative way – giving me the info I needed for me to make my own decision about treatment &/ or surgery. In addition to my knee & hip issues he discovered my back “was a mess”. After I had my R hip replaced in 3/11 I fell. My hip didn’t we to be damaged but my recovery process took a are eras. I went from walking w/o a Cain to barely being able to stand up. I just didn’t believe that my hip was Ok. Dr. Holmes referred me to a spine specialist and acted as my counselor in my decision making to have spinal fusion on my lower spine. I had the spine surgery 8/3/12. Almost immediately I realiz that my hip was fine-no damage from the fall-my back was the primary case of my pain and inability to stand &walk. THANK YOU, Dr.H for guiding sme through everything!,
